Sunday January 3 *Herod wanted to find Jesus because he felt threatened. *My gifts are kindness, helping others, and love. *Embracing the gifts Jesus Jesus gave us by loving our neighbor. Sunday December 27 *Family is very important to our society, for our New Years resolution we need to help a little more. *Children are the gift of God *We are all God's Children Sunday December 20 *Mary shows us how to wait and trust in the goodness of God. *Mary said yes, God asks us to do the same. *Nothing is impossible for God Sunday December 13 *Blindness cannot overcome your faith in Jesus. *The more you pray, the more you become holy. *John led the way preparing for Jesus. John was waiting for Jesus to arrive like we are in Advent. Sunday December 6 *John the Baptist is getting ready for the coming of Christ *Isaiah foretold the the coming of John the Baptist. "A voice crying out in the dessert" and that is exactly what John the Baptist did. *Prepare for Jesus' birthday. He will remind us that he will always be with us. *In order to be ready for Jesus we must repent our sins. Sunday November 29 *We have to learn to be patient and wait for God to come. *We have to focus on getting prepared in our faith for Christmas. Sunday November 22 *When you do good to to others you do good for God. *We are all excited to be together. Celebrate your family. *Letting God take the wheel in your life. To allow God to lead you, your life will be paradise. Sunday November 15 *Purgatory is one of God's greatest gifts. *The servants were us, and the Master is God *God wants us to focus on what talents we have been given. To be grateful, thankful and rejoiceful. * Embrace, use your talents Sunday November 8 *Having patience. Physical presence is important *Those who are unprepared for Jesus' second coming might be locked out of heaven or have to spend some time in purgatory. *The groom represents Jesus' second coming Sunday November 1 All Saints Day *Mother Theresa said" We can all become saints by living the Beatitudes" *Adore God and the people around us *We have to work hard to become a saint, but with God's grace we can do it! Sunday October 25 *you cannot love God without loving your neighbor. *It Starts with us! *We have to put the commandments (guidelines of how to live a good life) into practice so we can express love and shoe God's love. *Love your neighbor for who they are. *To love your neighbor you must follow the golden rule *Christ now has no body but yours. Sunday October 18 *Respect and honor Other Humans * Tell the truth. *Be loyal to God *Being a good citizen as well as a faithful Catholic. *Care for each other so we can give back to God *We carry the image of God in our lives. God wants us to recognize him in everything. *When God created the world there was nn explosion of Love! Sunday October 11 *Take time to honor God and others * In order to gain eternal life you have to do good works while you are here on earth. *Christ has many titles *Bride = Church Jesus = Groom *Hard work is to give honor, glory, and praise to God. *A covenant is where one gives ones self to another *Mass is like entering into a marriage feast with his people. *Making Mass and God a priority in your life. *no one is ever refused God's love. |
